Some telepathic experiments have produced intriguing results. But nothing is accepted as ‘scientific’ unless it’s shown to be measurable, consistent, and repeatable. Unfortunately, telepathy experiment results usually fall short on the consistent or repeatable parts, so that many doubt the truth of telepathy. Then there are researchers who argue that this is merely like Edison ‘s experiments to create the light bulb-he failed 10,000 times before he finally got it right, but that never meant that electric lights were ‘not real’. They say we just have to design better experiments around this phenomenon.

Science has not disproven the existence of telepathic people. But is it possible to communicate without using any of our five senses? Just by thought alone? The answer is somewhat of an obvious one. We would have to use a means that we cannot employ our senses to detect but the means exists nonetheless. Science and technology have already done it in the high tech way. Consider radio waves. True, we cannot see them, touch them, taste, hear or smell them, but we all know that they most certainly do exist.

For the scientific community there is one very important reason why studies into Telepathy continue. The fact that thought waves can be defined as electrical and magnetic fields caused by the brain and this has been proven. Can the human brain be Telepathic and if a person is called ‘telepathic’ does that mean it really does exist? The majority of people do not think so. The idea is dismissed as a science fiction or even mysticism. However, everyday we live with lap tops, cp’s and cell phones where information is retrieved from invisible waves in the air. People travel daily in jets regularly and anyone can command a glowing fire from a cigarette lighter.

It might however be possible to give the brains a boost. It seems that in times of extremely high emotional intensity, which might be brought on by a sense that one’s life is in danger for instance, more neural synapses than usual fire simultaneously, temporarily spiking the brain’s bio-magnetic and bio-electrical intensity.

And in fact, parapsychologists have documented short instances of telepathic communication in these moments. More Guitar Practice Tips

When practicing the guitar, discipline is very important. One of the most rewarding I have done in my life was learning to play the guitar but it was also one of the hardest. The reason that I became proficient with my instrument is simple. I practiced, and I practiced a lot; every day in my bedroom from the age of 16 (I’m 52 now). When I practice, improving my fundamentals like changing chords, improving my repertoire of songs and running up and down scales is where I spend the most of my time.

When I was in a good mood or I really wanted to play, was when it was easy for me to find time to practice. During those times it was so cool just listening to how great it sounded just changing from the D chord to the G chord that I could do it for hours. At other times it was my desire to practice and improve as player that made me develop my discipline to practice.

Practicing regularly and practicing well are the two main factors when it come to the discpline of playing guitar. Both of these are important to address.

The most obvious and easiest to do is practicing regularly. Basically you should play the guitar every day. You don’t need attention draining three or four hour long sessions. If you are focused during your practice time 30 minutes are usually enough. You get much better result doing regular and short practice sessions daily than you get going all out for hours once a week. I know you have a busy life but in reality most anyone can find 30 minutes a day to practice if they really want to. I prefer to practice in the evening because I find playing my guitar to be very relaxing and soothing after a hard day, but there is no really best time to practice just so you find the time to practice.

Practicing badly is a more common and difficult to address problem. Even the most experienced players are affected by this. The problem is caused by many things but also has many solutions.

  • Playing the same thing over and over every time you play. I am a firm believer that you should play something perfectly before you move on. However, when you do figure out how to play something, you need to keep challenging yourself by moving forward.
  • Moving on too quickly can also be a problem. Practice a certain piece till you can play that piece well before you move on the to next thing. Playing perfectly and accurately is an excellent habit for any musicians to have.
  • Not focusing on developing all parts of your musicianship when you are practicing. I like to split my playing into parts. For example I might spend 5 minutes practicing new scales or chords, 10 minutes working on writing new music for myself and maybe 15 minutes learning a new song or part of a song.
  • Playing things too fast when you first try and learn them. When you are trying to learn a new song this can cause you to become disillusioned with your playing. Most guitarists, including myself try playing a song at a slow speed before trying it a fast pace.

When playing guitar, in order to get good, practicing properly and regularly is the best way. This requires discipline. Not only discipline to practice regularly, but also discipline to stay focused and on track when you are practicing. If you stay disciplined with your playing you will develop in to an excellent player.
