How to Develop Your Own Acne Diet
By Article Expert on Oct. 24, 2009.
An acne diet sounds like a wonderful idea. Hasn’t everybody heard that chocolate will give you pimples? Everybody has. If you think about it its not so far-fetched that by watching your diet you could prevent acne.
However, an acne diet can be hard to create for a large number of people. This is very personal and its based on your body’s unique response to certain foods. There are rules to follow, but progress is usually by trial and error. Observe and make note of any changes in your skin. Make note of any changes. You might even want to take pictures using a digital camera once or twice a week. So if and when your skin clears up, stay on the diet you were on at the time.
Here are some simple rules to get you started on an acne diet:
* Up your intake of protein - Some dermatologists believe that protein is correlated with cleared skin. The reason for this belief is because protein has an enzyme that will limit the production of oils. Oily skin is very vulnerable to breakouts.
* 2. Avoid carbohydrates - You do not need to cut out carbs completely. But you should try to limit your intake so that they are about 40 percent of your diet. This is because compounds in carbohydrates can stimulate oil production. This is why junk food has a reputation for causing acne. Actually it is just that junk food is high in carbs.
* Drinking green tea is very good for you - If you can, drink real green tea. Brewing the green tea is the best way to drink it. But, if you really don’t like it, the natural green tea drinks will work. Green tea holds back androgen production. Breakouts can be caused by the hormone called androgen.
* You must restrict the amount of salt you take in - Salt usually contains iodine. This is the reason why you hear table salt called “iodized salt.” For some with acne, iodine an cause major inflammation.
While watching what you eat, you should also be very careful with what you put on your face. You should know what ingredients are in your beauty products if you have acne. Natural and organic skin care lines are the best acne prone skin. Products containing natural ingredients will least likely irritate your skin. If you wear makeup, then consider investing in mineral makeup. Many dermatologists believe that mineral makeup can actually alleviate acne problems and enhance the results of your acne diet.
Improve Communication with Your Readers
By Article Expert on Jun. 26, 2009.
Calling all publishers, editors, writers and freelance journalists. It’s time to breathe more life into your copy. Turn your articles into living pieces that spark measurable debate and that allows you to engage with your readers mind and soul - we’re talking revolution.
As it was in the beginning
Publishers have for many years relied on letters to get feedback from their readers and although email has opened up this method of communication it is still time consuming and difficult to monitor and process, and for the more popular articles, it is either a case of only a fraction of the received correspondence ever being used, or where online comments have been allowed, well written and good comments can be buried under poorly written and abusive comments.
Let’s face it, as well as being an overhead for the publisher, to most people it is an unrewarding medium in terms of effort required and response received, just think of the number of letters that go unpublished and unread.
As it is now
The Internet has brought new channels of communication and created opportunities that allow us to challenge traditional methods. The Internet has matured, no longer the preserve of computer geeks but an everyday technology that has been embraced globally, by the young and old, allowing the traditional way things were done to be re-evaluated. Newspapers, trade journals, magazines and ezines now have the opportunity to change the mental process.
Readers of any article often would like to comment, traditionally this has required them to feel strongly enough to write a letter, or now, with the convenience of the Internet, send an email or write a comment. Emails make communication easier but it still takes time to compose an email and time for the majority, is what they haven’t got.
Although interesting a letters page or a list of comments are at best a snapshot of views or an endless unmanaged list of comments; a well crafted and well written letter on any given subject may hold the view of the minority, or the majority but due to the free text form it is difficult, or near impossible, to measure.
As it should be
Now consider the advantages of linking articles to online surveys where as a publisher you will have the ability to obtain valuable readership feedback in a form that can be properly measured. Just as important as you communicating with your readers is providing your readers with a channel to communicate with you; a method where they know it will count.
Do you want to deliver a snapshot of opinion? Did they like that article? Did the sentiments expressed in the article have the support of the audience or do the readers have a different view?
Now it is easy
In the past surveys would have taken considerable effort to design and publish and altogether was a process too long winded and therefore reserved for the niche and bigger topics.
However, using a hosted survey site surveys and questionnaires can be created and published via the Internet by anyone who has a pulse. Professional looking surveys and questionnaires created in minutes that make the perfect complement to articles that prompt opinion and debate.
The advantage over letters, e-mails and comments are that all the feedback is properly managed and measured and sites like Survey Galaxy will provide you with a real time poll that you can either keep to yourself or share with your readers.
It can be complementary
Linking articles to online surveys will extend the life of the article and involve your readers in the discussion in a way where they are confident that their opinion will be counted.
You think they would rather send an email? - not a problem - just include the facility within the survey and get the best of both worlds.
It’s quick, low cost, and easy to do; it will empower and engage the reader, provide first class feedback and having established a communication channel you then have the opportunity to promote other related articles.

How to Write a Unique 519 Word Article in Less than 16 Minutes at the Speed of Sound
By Article Expert on Feb. 22, 2009.
If you need to write your own content, to update your blog on a regular basis, you might want to consider investing in a speech recognition software package. Two of the most popular ones are MacSpeech Dictate, for the Mac platform and Naturally Speaking Dragon for the PC platform.
Face it, writing good, unique, quality content takes time. If you want to optimize your site’s SEO and indexability, it’s vital that you have unique content. Using private label resell content may get you some ideas, but you still need to reword your article by at least 30% so the search engines will consider a unique.
If you’ve never used speech recognition software before, I think you’re going to be amazed by how much time you can save by talking your concepts, ideas, and thoughts into your favorite word processing program and having your ideas come to life at the speed of sound.
It’s human nature to think and speak. Thinking and writing can be a more complicated process. Once you have an idea or concept in your head is simply a matter of putting on your headphones and speaking in your natural voice as you watch the words that you’re speaking as almost magically appear on your page.
Personally, I’m a Mac guy. While I run virtual machines on my Mac to run programs that will only run on a PC, 95% of the work that I do is all based on the Mac, so I’m actually writing this article with a program called MacSpeech Dictate. Not only can you speak words that are transcribed, but you can also control 80-90% of the commands that you usually use a keyboard and mouse for, with your voice.
For example, I can create new documents by saying, “create new document” or I can save my document by saying “save this document”. It’s that easy! Once you work with the software for about an hour, you start to get comfortable with how to speak, what the basic commands are, and most importantly, the tremendous momentum that you’ll gain by speaking your thoughts directly onto your page instead of the more tedious process of thinking, typing, editing. Don’t get me wrong, you still have to make edits as the recognition software isn’t perfect, but the time you’ll save in typing and editing alone is worth the price of the software tenfold.
There is one more benefit of using speech recognition software besides the obvious time saving results you’ll get. If you’ve been typing more than a few hours a day for several years, you may experience some type of pain in your wrists, hands, or fingers. You may even be suffering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. If this is the case, by using speech recognition software, the time your fingers are actually on the keyboard and the mouse can be reduced by as much as 80%!
Regardless if you’re an author, writer or blogger, I’d highly recommend investing in some type of speech recognition software to optimize your time and effectiveness whenever you need to create unique, written content.
